Volunteer with #YKIFF2025
The Yellowknife International Film Festival is looking for volunteers to help with the 19th annual film festival from November 5-9, and encore screenings November 11-13.
Volunteer roles include:
- Bartender: Serve our guests before, after and during each film,
- Driver: Drive guests to and from airport,
- Theatre Cleaning Crew: Help with cleaning in between films,
- Set Up: Help set up in advance,
- Box Office: Scanning tickets at the ticket booth (equipment provided), Selling film tickets, Backup support for ticket takers,
- Merchandise Table: Set up of merchandise at the beginning of the night, Selling merchandise to guest before, during and after screening, and Take down of merchandise following event,
- Usher: Scanning tickets at the entrance to films, Handing out ballots at beginning of film, Receiving completed ballots at end of film, Backup support to Ticket scanner volunteers
- Social Media Support: Capture photos and videos with their smartphones for social media during the festival
Volunteer perks include:
- 1 film ticket for each shift worked
