YKIFF 20th ANNIVERSARY PASSES ON SALE

The Yellowknife International Film Festival (YKIFF) returns November 4-8, 2026 for its 20th anniversary, celebrating two decades of independent film, Northern storytelling and community. This year’s festival will bring filmmakers, film lovers and audiences together for five days of film, filmmaker Q&As, workshops and professional development opportunities, and mix and mingle events.

A cultural staple in Yellowknife and across Canada, YKIFF hosts over 40 events in 10 venues over a packed 5-day festival. The city comes alive as we bring in over 30 out-of-town guests to celebrate this exciting 20th anniversary milestone. 

Early-bird festival passes are on sale from today (Friday, September 11) through September 23. Individual tickets go on sale October 4.
