Neet'ihthan: In Frank's Name

Following the disappearance of Gwich'in-Inuvialuit community member Frank Gruben, who had recently moved to rural Fort Smith, Northwest Territories, to attend college, local youth refuse to let his name be forgotten. In his honour, they channel their and loved ones' grief across the Territory into a grassroots Pride festival that becomes a powerful space for remembrance, education, and belonging. As queer youth and allies share their stories of resilience, healing, and hope, Neet'ihthan reveals how one northern community is transforming grief into action while building a safer future for the next generation.
